How a turn works
- Step 1
Draw 1
Start your turn with a fresh card. Behind on material? Draw two.
- Step 2
Play up to 2 cards
Spend Command on Actions, Traps and Passives. Bend the board your way.
- Step 3
Make your chess move
One legal move, every turn. A Movement card counts as that move.
- Step 4
Opponent may react
They spend Guard to cancel, rewind or escape. Then it is their turn.

Storm moves, Blade strikes, Crown defends, Clock bends time. Each suit plays like its own army.

Command grows from 2 to 6 and pays for your turn. Whatever you don't spend becomes Guard for theirs.
